YOUTH
Sharing the Heritage
On a monthly basis, a group of young fiddlers aged 10 to 16 visit seniors and shut-ins of St. Laurent to share with them the fun and excitement of their fiddling, jigging and dancing. The Residents of both the Laurentian Lodge and the St. Laurent Assisted Living Centre gather in a common area to tap their toes, clap their hands, and sometimes even start to dance. It’s a joyful experience for both the audience and performers. To read more on the article please visit the Manitoba Government website.
