Critical information regarding wildfire state of emergency

The Manitoba Métis Federation (MMF) is working towards creating and implementing Emergency Response and Disaster Management Plans along with Hazard Identification Risk Assessments (HIRA) to protect Red River Métis Citizens in the event of natural disasters such as wildfires, floods, power outages and other climate related disasters. The MMF is preparing programs and initiatives for Red River Métis Citizens, and we look forward to sharing the programs and initiatives very soon.

Provide essential support services to all wildfire evacuees.
Reception Area: Hot meals, Cold drinks, internet café, children's activities, printing needs
Donation Shopping Centre:
Clothing for all shapes and sizes, shoes,infant needs, hygiene products, books, games, children's toys, pet supplies
25 Ray Marius Road: 10:00 am - 5:00 pm
Destination to receive donations for sorting and distribution to the Evacuation Centre. See below for current items desperately needed
Southwest Region Office (656-6th Street, Brandon, Manitoba): 9:00 am - 3:30 pm
We're now accepting donations to provide essential support to evacuees. Donation drop off at back door.
