Following the historic ratification of our Red River Self Government Treaty, we are busy preparing for our Annual General Assembly held October 13-15 at Assiniboia Downs.

At this year's AGA, we will host the federal government, represented by the Honourable Gary Anandasangaree, Minister of Crown Indigenous Relations, and other dignitaries, as we sign our Treaty. This will represent the partnership between the National Government of the Red River Metis and Canada in a new era of our self-government.

Between now and then, I encourage you to read my President's Message, published in Le Metis and here, on the MMF website, biweekly. In the Message, you will learn about the ongoing work and activity of your Red River Metis Government. This includes everything from information about our Regional Meetings to cultural events and festivals we have gathered to celebrate, and more.
