LOCAL ELECTION NOTICES

Elections for Local Executive Officers are held every four years in the same year as the National election. There are, however, vacancies that occur from time to time which require a by-election.

The following upcoming by-elections for Local Executive Officers have been set:

WINNIPEG REGION:

PRAIRIE BUFFALO LOCAL, March 5^th, 6:30 P.M., St. Mary's Academy - Library 550 Wellington Crescent, Winnipeg MB R3M 0C1

There will be by-elections called soon for the following Locals:

SOUTHEAST REGION:

TRAVERSE BAY,

MARCHAND LOCAL,

ST. MALO LOCAL,

NORTHWEST REGION:

RORKETON LOCAL,

SWAN RIVER LOCAL,

THOMPSON REGION:

NORWAY HOUSE LOCAL,

LEAF RAPIDS LOCAL,

WINNIPEG REGION:

RED RIVER LOCAL,

NEW HORIZONS,

SOUTHWEST:

GRAND VALLEY,

CHERRY CREEK,

THE PAS REGION:

SNOW LAKE LOCAL

GRAND RAPIDS

 

To nominate a candidate, run for office or vote, you must be a Red River Métis citizen (be on the CRO Register with a "V" number), and be a member of the Local at the start of the meeting at which the election is being held.
