MMF Commits to Helping Ukrainian Refugees

The MMF and the Ukrainian Canadian Congress ("UCC") have concluded negotiations for the MMF to provide childcare training and employment for Ukrainian refugees. This occasion is an historic precedent for an Indigenous government to support international survivors of war. To mark this momentous event, the MMF and UCC will sign a Memorandum of Understanding on Tuesday, June 13, 2023, at 1:30 PM, at the future home of the Red River Métis Heritage Centre located at 335 Main Street.
