Infinity Women Secretariat (IWS) is a non-profit, provincial organization that works with Métis women throughout the Province of Manitoba. Incorporated on April 23, 2013, Infinity Women Secretariat has already become well known in our Métis communities, our Métis Government and all throughout our Metis Nation Homeland. IWS is an affiliate of the Manitoba Métis Federation.

IWS provides programs that assist Métis women throughout each of the seven Regions of the MMF.
IWS is continuously improving their ability to deliver sustainable programs and to support Métis women, girls, youth, and 2SLGBTQQIA individuals in Manitoba.

These programs are designed to connect and empower Métis women across the province through cultural heritage, employment programs, community engagement, and leadership & governance development.

Governance

IWS is comprised of:

• A Board of Directors
• The Spokeswoman (CEO)
• An appointed Provincial Youth Representative

In addition to program staff, the Board of Directors is comprised of eight Voting Directors:

• One Provincial Spokeswoman (Elected province-wide),
• Seven Regional Directors (Elected regionally)
• One Non-Voting Member, the Youth Representative.
