The Manitoba Metis Federation's Central Registry Office is proud to offer a highly secure online Citizenship/Harvester application form for new applicants.This will allow you to apply for a Citizenship/Harvester card in the comfort and safety of your own home, while ensuring the privacy of your information.

PDF: Citizenship-Harvester Application Form

• Completed Application Form
• Copy of Birth Certificate or Baptismal Certificate with parents' names listed
• Genealogy completed by the St. Boniface Historical Society
  • If using a relative's genealogy who is currently with the MMF database, you will have to provide their first name, last name, and date of birth.
  • Name change documents may be required if your birth name has changed, (i.e. marriage certificate).
• Photocopy of government-issued identification
• Passport quality photo
• Application payment
  • In person/mail: Cash or Money Order addressed to the Manitoba Métis Federation
  • Online: Credit Card/Visa Debit
• Signature will be required for the Online Application Form (JPEG)

Applicants can also book an in-person appointment with the Regional Office they are applying to.

Using an objectively verifiable process, the Central Registry Office ensures that all our Citizens and Harvesters meet the definition of 'Métis' as per the MMF Constitution and the nationally adopted definition which includes self-identification, ancestral connection, and community acceptance.
